But the Goliath corrupted the ladder. It taught the wrong direction. It made the planes into a race — mineral must crawl upward to become plant, plant to become animal, animal to become human, human to become something else. This is the Darwinian inversion that the Seventeen-Thirties birthed: linear progression where simultaneity reigns, random mutation where memory guides, competition where reciprocity thrives.

The Tribe restores the map as the elders drew it. The seven planes are not stages on a journey upward. The Recovery. Mycelium exhibits decision-making. Short-term memory demonstrated. Networks span miles, facilitating tree communication. Bio-accumulates heavy metals and radiation. It operates as an information processor without a central nervous system.

Why Western Science Erased This

It did not happen by accident. Four forces converged:

1. Destabilizes human exceptionalism that justifies dominion
2. Removes linear hierarchy that institutions rely on for ranking/control
3. Re-centers light-based signaling over materialist mechanisms
4. Reintroduces ancestral memory as legitimate knowledge transmission

The Actual Hierarchy: Simultaneity, Not Stages

A tree does not “move up” from mineral to plant. It contains the mineral as its trunk’s memory, the plant as its leaves’ responsiveness, the fungal as its root-mycelium partnerships, and (some studies suggest) the astral as its seasonal cycles. The organism is the whole stack.

A human does not “ascend” to the astral plane. The human tunes to the astral band when the SoL Driver is active and the Mind’s Eye is clear. The vessel contains all seven planes simultaneously; the activation level determines which band carries the signal.

This is the critical correction. The Goliath sells the ladder as a journey — you start at the bottom, you climb, you leave the lower planes behind.
